How do I reserve totes or portable storage containers?
You can go online for a quick quote and reservation or call our office at 519-566-3332.
How much can I fit in a 16ft container?
You can fit on average 1-2 bedroom worth of belongings not including appliances.
How much can I fit in a 20ft container?
You can fit on average 3-4 bedrooms worth of belongings not including appliances.
How do I pack a storage container?
Try and keep the heaviest and biggest items on the bottom and back of the container with the lightest on top. Stackingand tying the totes/boxes down as you work your way towards the double doors.
What can't I pack in the portable containers?
Liquids or hazardous materials/chemicals. Hazardous meterials are defined as being flammable, toxic, illegal or explosive, including freezable liquids.
Can I cancel my moving bin?
Cancellations are no problem! Simply call our office.
Can I access my storage containers if they are stored at your facility?
Yes! Just call our office and we will accomodate you.
How long is the monthly rental period?
The Move Out Bin’s rental period runs on “anniversary” dates. If you rented your moving container on January 10th for a period of one month, pickup would occur on February 9th.
*Daily rates apply if the storage container is used for less then a month. (Example: If the rental period is 1 month and 5 days, you will be charges the monthly fee plus the 5 days only.)
Do I need to purchase extra insurance?
It is always best to check your homeowner’s policy to see if stored goods are insured.
Are there set minimums or maximums for rentals?
While there is no maximum rental period, there is a minimum rental charge for up to 3 weeks.
*Daily rates apply if the storage container is used for less then a month. (Example: If you decide to rent a storage container for less then 3 weeks, then the minimum rates applies. But if you decide you need the container for a longer period, then we breakdwon the cost as per day basis.)
Can I store my storage container myself?
Yes, our storage facility is a free option available to you should you so choose. You are more than welcome to store your container on your own property.
Do I need to the there when my storage bins are delivered or picked up?
It is not necessary for you to be home when a storage container is picked up or delivered. However, we will need specific directions as to where to locate your box and where it is to be delivered.
What are your totes made of?
Our totes are constructed from eco-friendly, durable plastic. Over 400lbs can be placed on the lockable lid. Dimensions are: H- 12.5” W- 18” L- 27”
Will your storage containers keep my items secure?
The Move Out Bin’s storage containers are equipped with secure locking systems to ensure your items are never tampered with.
How long will it take to get my portable storage container?
The Move Out Bin can usually deliver within 48hrs.
